I feel ya. This is what led me to tell British Gas to fuck off on the phone last year. The poor customer service rage builds up and has nowhere to go but out of my mouth with a string of expletives. Bloody useless companies…

I’m always amazed that these people managed to build and keep and empire for so long. Basic competence hasn’t been one of their strengths these last few decades.

It takes them 7 weeks (and a totally inappropriate level of disruption) to build a pedestrian crossing, for goodness’ sake.

I think modern history has mostly left the British behind, but that they pilfered so much lucre they’re still rich from the spoils.
