(tired) new girl on the block
why are first days so incredibly tiring? mentally draining, and physically exhausting.
the people seem very nice. so that is good.
my commute is longer, and more expensive. so that is not so great.
there are a lot of conveniences near my work. so that is good.
i don’t have a desk, and everyone else does. so that’s not so great.
overall, i have a good feeling. so that is good.
and change is always good.
but good god, i’m knackered beyond belief.

You’ll get a desk and you don’t need to go in every day. So travel will be cheaper, in the end. You’ve made a good decision.

It’s like going to the mall or a hardware store…so much to see and take in all at once, only you’re also giving and getting first impressions. Glad it looks promising — change is always so refreshing!

i didn’t have a computer for the first 5 weeks at my new job….so being without space and resources present unique challenges, but it DOES feel good to be in something new, doesn’t it? Best to you in this new endeavor. Truly. Truly. Can’t wait to hear more!
