yes, the law applies to people driving mercedes too.
argh! why oh why do people in london not move aside for ambulances!!!
it’s infuriating! they all sit there passively, not even attempting to pull to the side of the road. and now, having actually been in the back of an ambulance, it’s even more maddening.
that could be someone’s family member in there, suffering a heart attack, or with internal injuries, or going into anaphylactic shock. and they just sit there in their cars on their mobile phones, or playing with the radio, or twiddling their thumbs, without any sense of urgency whatsoever.
*move the fuck over*

I alway find that really shocking too. People *may* slow down but they don’t usually attempt to move over and they certainly don’t stop. I find that really strange.

I drive a mercedes, and let me tell you, there have been plenty of times that I’ve been too enamored with my car to care how laws apply to it. It goes SO FAST!
That said, people in Cali are huge a-holes about pulling over for 911. Also about once a year some new idiot has killed themselves and their passengers rushing the trolley tracks trying to beat the oncoming trolley, a massive, expansive hunk of metal traveling at 40mph and carrying hundreds of people. Not the mercedes drivers, we would never risk the scratches to the car.
